Description
Painting of homestead by Alice O. Thorson in 1889. The house is in the center on the far left and there is a wooden fence in the front of the image. It is done in very dark colors with woods in the background. Framed in deep box frame with cream colored paint.
Child's winter hat - Pink. Decorative bow and ribbons for under the chin straps.
Book "Early Red Wing Businesses Street by Street: Main Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, Fifth Street" by Sharon M. Nelson. Published by Insty Prints: Red Wing, MN, 2012. There is a separate index in the book. Sharon Nelson did research at GCHS and the Red Wing Public Library. The donor brought in updated copies of the books on 6/22/2012 to replace the ones we had. She took the outdated copies back with her. Recommended for deacession. Sharon Nelson updated and printed a new book. in 2015 Replaced by 2016.015.001
