Description
Sherd: Potsherd, tempered clay, decorative depressions on one side. From earlier PastPerfect description: "Box of small pottery chips etc. Shell-tempered, trailed line decoration. Mississippian (Oneota) 1100-1600 A.D. Crushed shell mixed with clay and decorated with geometric and curvilinear designs, broad trailed lines made with stick; handles on most pots; round body; smooth surface on body, shoulders, and constricted neck." 12/18/2017 New number was given due to not having the original catalog date. From Uudated Archaeology Inventory: "24 pieces of Mississippian (oneota) 1100-1600 Ad, Shell tempered, trail line decoration."
